At a first glance, this may seem like your average grey Dunk Low, but take a closer look and the details become hard to ignore. The Swoosh has been introducing a number of playful features onto its iconic silhouette roster, with this Dunk Low “Needlework” edition combining a number of them onto one piece of footwear.
The laces are the most obvious change, with their thick rope profile similar to the set we saw on the Premium Goods x Nike Air Force 1 Low “The Sophia”. Then your eyes drop onto the Swoosh, where a paisley textured finish has been applied to the logo, feeding into the subtle but intricate motif that surrounds the design. On the heel tab, you can find a script Nike font debossed into the panel with a chrome dot applied to the “i”, a detail we first saw on the Air Force 1 Low Chrome Swoosh “Sail” release. Another detail adopted from the AF1 Chrome Swoosh edition is on the toe box, where a decorative pattern replaces the regular perforations that Nike normally issues on the Dunk.
If you’re after a pair of Nike Dunk Lows that don’t cry out for attention but instead whispers of its quality, then the Needlework edition is the one for you. Find out where to pick these up by staying tuned into The Sole Supplier!
