Next up on the list of satin sneakers for Nike is the Dunk Low. Having seen the reception of its Air Jordan 1 High satin editions over the years, the Swoosh switches its attention to the Dunk Low in hopes to replicate that same fanfare. Although Nike SB dropped the Dunk High “Salt Satin” back in 2014, the first time we saw the low-cut satin edition announced was via the Women’s exclusive UNLV Dunk Low.
This edition is of course the classic Michigan State colourway that pays homage to the Michigan State Spartans, a college basketball team out in the US. We saw this iconic colourway retro in its original leather tooling back in June of 2021, with it receiving huge attention from both old and new fans of the Dunk alike. Now this satin version adds to the lineage of the Michigan State make-up, putting a luxury spin on the ‘80s silhouette. While the midsole tooling is still the same, the upper is now fully constructed from the plush material from head to toe.
Are you a fan of these Nike Dunk Low “Satin Green”? Will you even attempt hooping or skating in them? Let us know! For more information surrounding the Dunk Satin iterations, keep it tuned to The Sole Supplier.
