Nike Mac Attack x Social Status Summit White

Part of James Whitner’s streetwear empire, Social Status dishes out another collaborative project with Nike featuring tennis legend John McEnroe’s signature tennis trainer, the Mac Attack. The five-pack capsule pays homage to several Social Status brick-and-mortar locations highlighted in the co-branded sockliner. This Nike Mac Attack x Social Status “Summit White” iteration lands in an autumn-appropriate makeover, clad in heavy neutral tones and premium fabrics.

Social Status has been an active Nike collaborator since 2021 with the Dunk Low Mid, Penny 1, and Penny 2 projects. This latest Social Status Mac Attack rendition showcases a clean white mesh underlay with 3M reflective elements that pop out in the dark. Meanwhile, sail white suede overlays and pre-aged midsole represent years of hard work in bodegas. Vibrant Nike and Social Status logos on the tongue sit atop a green backdrop, while old-school Nike branding decorates the black leather heel tab. The yellow shopping bag and colourful extra laces deliver special-edition packaging and personalisation. A blacked-out rubber outsole rounds out the clean makeover of this ‘80s tennis trainer.
