Originally unveiled as an impressive but cheaply made running silhouette, this was Nike’s first and only attempt at a disposable runner. Hence it took the name of an insect which only has a day-long lifespan.
That said, times have changed and this sneak has since evolved into one of the more premium renditions. It’s way more durable than the original but still delivers that minimalist flair.
This pair comes crafted with a one-piece nylon upper that promises an unbelievably lightweight fit that doesn’t compromise on durability. The all-day comfort is emphasised with a low profile midsole underfoot.
Fitted with memory foam technology, this delivers that energy absorbing cushioning. Finally, the OG Mayfly insignia makes an appearance in reflective detailing.
The Nike Mayfly Lite SE Pinnacle Grey is scheduled to release on Friday 31st March via the retailers listed.
