An official release date has now been given for the Nike Mayfly Woven Bronze. Arriving alongside an array of colourways, you can choose from grey, black and cream. Taking its name from the insect of the same name, the Mayfly was originally launched in the 80s as a low cost running sneak. It was the most affordable option on the market and due to it’s lack of quality of materials, it had a very short life span. Thankfully, the good people at Nike updated this classic to transform the design into a hard-wearing and luxurious sneak.
This pair is crafted with premium suede on the upper, which looks especially good in this bronze colourway. It’s one of the more bolder renditions of the pack, but is a great choice for those who like to stand out. Woven detailing in the show stopper, and stamped from heel to toe. It gives that luxurious element as well as improving ventilation for the warmer days ahead. To compliment the look, the sneaks sit on a white midsole and include tonal Nike branding to the heel and tongue tab.
