Virgil Ablob unleashes serious heat this September and the Off-White x Nike Blazer is just one of ten silhouettes to choose from. Although this won’t be an easy cop, for those who manage to get lucky, each pair is expected to be a collectors items. Here we take a look at the Off-White Blazer which arrives in striking and contemporary form – not the conventional aesthetic for this old-school silhouette.
First seen in the 70s and now completely reworked at the hands of Virgil’s contemporary street brand, we’re guessing you’ve never seen the Blazer like this. A robust midsole is crafted from rubber and features in a tonal shade of cream. This is especially unique thanks to the black Swoosh which extends across the sidewall onto the midsole.
The upper is characteristic of Off-White pieces – a subtle combination of understated matched with bold detailing. Whether it’s the oversized “SHOELACES” insignia, vibrant splashes of orange or chunky padded tongue, you can be assured of that distinctive street inspired look.
To complete the Off-White x Nike Blazer, a signature cable tie is attached to the laces. Although this can be removed, we’re guessing they’ll be plenty of sneakerheads proud to show off this classic Off-White label.
