Nike TN Air Max Plus Neptune Blue

Nike adds another cold blue TN to its release roster in 2023 with this “Black Blue Gradient” edition. When it comes to just this Air Max silhouette alone, Nike has truly spoiled us this year with drops like the “Icons Pack” and “Black Sundial” colourways making it hard not to have a TN in the rotation. While many would agree that the TN has reached a high point in ’23, this new “Neptune Blue” could have what it takes to clutch the number one spot.

A number of sneakerheads have already drawn comparisons to the “Tiffany” colourway from ’21, labelling this as a possible ‘Tiffany 2.0’. The traditional mesh upper details the typical sunset gradient as seen on classics like the “OG Hyper Blue”, albeit here in a lighter shade. A mini chrome Swoosh and black midsole are two obvious similarities to the previously mentioned “Tiffany”, with the midfoot whale tail reflecting the same balance of colours as above. As per usual, a yellow Hexagonal logo is stamped into the spine, a signature part of the Air Max Plus toolkit. The light blue colourway ensures these pop during the daytime, while 3M accents along the forefoot allow for visibility at night. Combining an all-black outsole with the hard-hitting shade of blue means these will stay looking fresh for longer, just be careful you don’t spill anything onto the white section of mesh otherwise you best hope you’ve got your sneaker cleaning kit handy.
