Tokyo-based technical, utilitarian fashion brand nanamica reunites with PUMA for a second collaboration featuring outdoor-ready apparel and two PUMA Clyde colourways. Like the first collection, the sneakers are equipped with waterproof GORE-TEX fabrics, fulfilling the brand’s utility-inspired design concepts. This “GTX White” rendition flaunts a clean white makeover, highlighted with sail white accents for a vintage aesthetic.
Japanese designer and The North Face Purple Label managing director Eiichiro Homma founded nanamica in 2003, showcasing high-functional clothing perfect for the Gorpcore trend. This second collaboration with PUMA celebrates nanamica’s 20th anniversary and the PUMA Clyde’s 50th anniversary. The two brands first allied in 2022, featuring an apparel collection and two monochromatic PUMA Suede renditions. This PUMA Clyde colourway has an all-white GORE-TEX base with sail white Formstrip logos on the sides. One notable update to this shoe is the lacing system, as the laces hide within the eyestays. PUMA Clyde branding adorns the lateral panel, while nanamica’s logo sits on the heel panel. The sail white rubber sole complements the clean retro look of this collaborative sneaker to round out the design.
