PUMA RS-X Efekt Black

The 1980s was a time when team-oriented competition gave way to individual fitness. With jogging gaining popularity, Armin Dassler of PUMA, envisioned a shoe that would help runners improve their performance. In 1985, PUMA launched its Running System (RS) cushioning and its RS-Computer shoe. Get ready for one of the latest iterations of the RS series, the PUMA RS-X Efekt “Black”.

This RS-X Efekt gets the triple black treatment. The entire shoe is black, from the mesh uppers to the nubuck, suede and bonded synthetic overlays that wrap around the shoe. Even the Formstrips on both the medial and lateral quarter panels are camouflaged in black. The incredibly comfortable PU midsole is equipped with the brand’s iconic RS technology. A high-traction black rubber outsole wraps up the design of this sneaker.
