Daiki Suzuki’s Engineered Garments reunites with Reebok for a two-part collection featuring the archival BB 4000 2. Known for its meticulous attention to detail and high-quality workwear, the Japan-born, New York-based label has earned the respect of the fashion space since its inception in ‘99. The Engineered Garments x Reebok BB 4000 2 “Silver Metallic” reimagines the cult classic basketball shoe with fancy details, bridging yesteryear’s design with today’s fashion trends.
This colourway boasts a shiny silver upper crafted in premium leather, deviating from Suzuki’s typical utilitarian-inspired aesthetic. Embossed “Engineered Garments New York” branding decorates the lateral quarter panel, keeping the vector logo discreet. Debossed Reebok branding appears on the rear, accompanied by the UK flag emblem on the tongue. The cream rubber sole exudes a pre-aged look, shored up by a greyscale rubber outsole built for the hardwood and concrete.
