Universal Works x Saucony Jazz NXT Brown

Nottingham-based fashion label Universal Works reunites with Saucony for their second collaboration titled “Route to the Future”. This two-part collection features the Saucony Jazz NXT, a modern reinterpretation of classic Jazz models. The collab is part of Universal Works’ expansive “Future Friendship Project”, a celebration of love and admiration spanning various brand partnerships. This “Brown” rendition lands with a suede construction, accented with yellow panels for an earthy ensemble to complement the “Grey” variant.

The shoe has a dark brown hairy suede base, highlighted by white UW stitching on the lateral forefoot and the “S” stitching on the Saucony logo to represent the brand’s initial. Minimalist Universal Works branding adorns the yellow tongue, while Saucony’s label sits atop the yellow suede heel panel. Subtle checkerboard patterns decorate the laces for additional design. Co-branded labels appear on the sockliner in a minimalist approach. The brown midsole and gum rubber sole wrap up this collaborative take on the modern retro Jazz NXT.
