Following the release of the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas ZX 8000 "Super Earth" this month, it looks like the power duo are set to reunite once again, this time for the Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x adidas Superturf Adventure! A three-way collaboration with atmos, this is the second time that the Round Two co-founded has teamed up with the Hidefumi Hommyo label, with the first time being their ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 that took over the sneakersphere last year.
Based off the Hoverturf silhouette that made its initial debut back in 2019, the Sean Wotherspoon's Superturf Adventure is crafted from 100% plant-based materials and is made for the great outdoors. Recycled materials make up the knit upper, while the insole is sustainable cork. You'll also find a lace shroud that can be attached and detached with ease. This is made from corduroy just like the Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1 from 2018.
Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a highly sculpted adidas adiPRENE+ midsole that's the same tech used on models such as the Yeezy 500 and the Ozweego. This is then lined with a durable rubber outsole for added traction with every step.
According to Complex, the Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x adidas Superturf Adventure is set to pre-release in November followed by a much wider launch in December. Let us know what you think of this crazy collaboration, and in related news, it looks like the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Superstar "Black" is getting a global release!
