An On Foot Look At The Yeezy 700 V3 "Azael"

With only ten days left until release, we're now taking an on foot look at the hotly anticipated Yeezy 700 V3 "Azael". Hands down one of the most sought after sneakers of the entire year, it serves as Kanye West's final sneaker of the decade, and it's the perfect way to send off 2019.

While the previous two generations of 700 oozed with retro vibes, the "Azael" looks to the future for its design. Featuring a clean white and grey Primeknit base, a glow-in-the-dark cage wraps around the entire upper for support and stability that resembles the Yeezy Quantum. Unlike the aggressive styling of the V1 and the V2, sleek swooping lines run around this silhouette for a futuristic vibe that is unlike anything we've seen before.

A plush foam sockliner provides the perfect amount of comfort, while a tongue that's designed just like the Yeezy 500 High "Slate" also features, boasting a much thicker look compared to its predecessors.

As we move down below, you'll be presented with a midsole that's the splitting images of the Yeezy Boost 380 "Alien". This was obviously done on purpose to introduce Ye's fresh design language which will definitely be making an appearance in future silhouettes.

With that said, adidas have curiously removed the Boost unit in favour of another mysterious cushioning tech that has yet to be officially confirmed. To round it all off, a light blue rubber outsole injects a subtle yet striking pop of colour into the mix, finalising the design.
