Get Up Close With the Rarest Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "THE 50"

The Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "THE 50" is looming closer and closer. First teased all the way back in May of 2020 during an Instagram Live session, Virgil Abloh shared a very quick sketch of what we should expect. Who knew that 15 months later we would be getting not one, not two, not even three, but 50 brand new colourways. With all that said, we're now getting up close and personal with the rarest one of them all: the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low "01/50".

Part of the upcoming "Dear Summer" Collection which explores "the gray area between black and white", the "Lot 1" is the most exclusive out of all the pairs followed by the "Lot 50". Working on top of a crisp white canvas base, glossy leather panels wrap around the heel, lacing system, and toebox for added depth. A metallic silver Nike Swoosh elegantly glides across the laterals and medials, and this is further contrasted by a single orange tag at the tail end of the Swoosh.

Down below, you'll find a soft yellow midsole that's painted in a delicious "Butter" hue. This offers up a vintage vibe that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. This is then offset with a rubberised plaque that is embossed with "01/50", hinting that there are indeed 50 of these Dunks set to come out.

Of course, you can't talk about this Off-White x Nike Dunk colourway without mentioning all the delightfully deconstructed elements throughout. From the technical verbiage along the sidewalls to the exposed foam tongue all the way to the quoted text on the laces, Off-White has gone all out for this release, and it works insanely well.
