Renowned London-based footwear designer Helen Kirkum is set to work on another collaborative project with Soho retailer Footpatrol to raise funds for Young Minds, a children’s mental health charity. The duo will raffle off 20 bespoke ASICS sneakers to help celebrate Footpatrol’s 20th anniversary, with each sneaker being totally unique. Kirkum’s signature mix-and-match aesthetic is present across the kicks, with base silhouettes including the GEL-LYTE III, GEL-NANDI OG, GEL-PRELEUS, GEL-KAYANO 14 and the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG. The signature ASICS logo featured across the 20 pairs has been sampled from the designer’s previous collaborative project with the Japanese brand, meaning that the two projects are intertwined and all 20 sneakers are connected together.
Set to be raffled off soon as part of Footpatrol’s ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations, these sneakers are definitely one for the collectors to keep an eye out for, so stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for further details as they’re unveiled.
