Montreal-based design studio JJJJound has caused quite a stir in the past few years with its ongoing New Balance collaborations, and now its back once again in partnership with the Boston brand to offer up an entirely new pair. Once again using the 990v3 silhouette as the blank canvas, this time around the kicks are decked out in an earthy-brown hue across the uppers. Black and silver details help to offset the look, while key features include N logos on either side, cream laces and JJJJound branding on the heels. An ENCAP midsole unit completes the design and also offers unrivalled comfort.
While previous releases from the pair haven’t exactly been an easy cop, it seems like this collaboration will be the hardest to get your hands on yet, as it’s set to exclusively release in Montreal, Canada, the home of JJJJound. Launching on the 25th November, sneakerheads will be able to reserve pairs online for pickup at an upcoming JJJJound installation in the city. As it stands there’s no news regarding a wider release, but stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest, and while you’re with us check out Ronnie Fieg’s latest NB effort!
