It’s fair to say that the fashion world hasn’t quite been the same since we lost the incredibly talented Virgil Abloh, but we can at least take some comfort in the fact that the designer still had a lot of drops lined up for us to remember him by. We’ve already seen a number of his Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s shared by his friends and family on social media, and of course there were pairs that were auctioned off at Sotherby’s too, but now we might finally have an idea of which of the collaborative efforts will see a retail release. Scheduled to drop later this year, copping any of these are the colourways will mean owning some serious sneaker history, so let’s take a closer look.
The Louis Vuitton x Nike AF1 line-up looks to feature a number of lows, which all tend to follow the typical AF1 silhouette, but come constructed from premium leather with all-over LV logos debossed into the leather. As expected, some colourways are much more wearable than others. There’s a simple “Triple White” and “Triple Black” pair, as well as two-tone iterations in green and white, blue and white, and red and white. Louder options include a multi-coloured iteration with silver detailing, and a patent gold pair – both will take some serious styling.

Alongside the lows, there looks to be a couple of mid-top variations too. Again, a “Triple White” option offers a super-clean take, whilst another AF1 Mid comes dressed in the LV checkerboard and features a graffiti-style 'Virgil' motif.
As mentioned, these pairs are all set to form part of Louis Vuitton and Nike’s retail releases, but there’s a high chance that they may well have been allocated to VIP clients already. In the meantime, you can see all the pairs right here, and we’ll be sure to let you know if anything changes!
Up next, a rare Off-White x Nike sample has surfaced.
