In a series of images just released by the French luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton has shared an exclusive look at it’s upcoming collaboration with Nike. Designed by the late Virgil Abloh, the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low “White” is easily one of the most anticipated launches this year, with both high-end fashion fans and streetwear heads equally excited for the drop.
Collaborations between high-fashion brands and sportswear labels have become increasingly popular as of late, and with highly-limited friends and family pairs of the LV x Nike AF1 already gifted to a select few, the hype surrounding the upcoming retail release continues to grow to unprecedented levels.
Pictured here is the whited-out variant of the sneaker, and it’s clear that a lot of attention to detail is being paid throughout the construction process. Created hand-in-hand with the Louis Vuitton quality control department, the kicks will be manufactured well above standard Nike quality and feature exclusive details like all-over monogram print, custom tongue tabs and “AIR” branding on the midsoles.
If you’re looking at getting your hands on any of the pairs from the upcoming capsule, then you better have deep pockets, as retail for the mid-top editions will be €2500, along with a similarly whopping €2000 for the low-tops. The pairs are set for a wider release sometime in June, although no date is confirmed as of yet.
