After all these years you might expect Nike's Air Max range to be a little too familiar. Tracing its roots back to the 80s, most of us weren't even around when those OGs first surfaced. Fast forward more than three decades and somehow, that visible AIR is more intriguing than ever.

It's Nike's commitment to constant change that brings fresh meaning to the phrase "Air Max";. Take for example, their latest newcomer for 2019. The Air Max 200 is about to make its debut, launching here in the UK tomorrow for both guys and girls.

If there's one thing that gets us sneakerheads excited it's the effortless marriage between iconic style and contemporary performance. The Nike Air Max 200 carries that theme perfectly. These are clearly different from the norm but similarities are found with older Air Max models as well as the recent Air Max 270 React.

The major difference, of course, lies with that visible Air Unit which isn't entirely on full display. Instead, that chunky cushioning gets surrounded by a durable midsole.

The upper is just as functional thanks to lightweight mesh uppers surrounded by a premium suede material. As far as everyday footwear goes, this is about as versatile as it gets.

The new AM200 launches tomorrow via Nike UK and other major stockists. Several colourways are up for grabs including the 'Triple Black', 'Rasta White' and womens 'Mystic Green'.
