In an unlikely partnership, high-end fashion label Mastermind Japan has joined forces with Crocs to release two limited-edition colourways of the Classic Clog silhouette. The clog shoe trend seems to be all the rage lately, with several labels launching their own takes on the iconic style in the past few weeks. While Mastermind Japan is usually launching ultra-premium products with a high price tag, it seems that this collaboration may well be more accessible to the brand's casual fans.
The first colourway offers up a suitably-stealthy blacked-out look, with the legendary Classic Clog silhouette remaining largely unchanged. Details include the label’s signature skull and crossbones motif at the joint of the ankle strap, while the logo also appears across the Jibbitz that can be removed from the kicks should you wish to do so.
The second iteration also keeps things simple yet effective, opting for a black and white get-up. Across this pair, the midsoles and ankle strap are decked out in pure white, offering a stark contrast to the otherwise blacked-out look. Jibbitz once again make an appearance, although this time around with the colours reversed.
