After another busy year in the sneaker world, New Balance continues to cement itself as a key player in the industry, releasing a flurry of high-heat trainers in the last 12 months. With exclusive collaborations with the likes of JJJJound, Salehe Bembury and more hitting the shelves, the brand has been turning the heads of sneaker fans relentlessly and has now broken into the mainstream commercial market too. While these limited-edition pairs are the ones that initially build the hype, it’s worth mentioning that the brand has been putting out some serious GR heat as well, meaning you can snag a great pair with ease.
We’ve been trawling the ranges available on the New Balance site as we speak, and have pulled three of our favourite kicks out to showcase here, so check out our choices below! If that isn’t enough then head on over and check out the epic range for yourself, and make sure to stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news and updates.
Kicking off our selection is the recently revisited New Balance 580 V2 silhouette, seen here in a deep navy colourway. Originally launching back in 1996, the model has been the subject of recent collaborative projects with Palace Skateboards and Stray Rats, and now returns in a solid GR colourway too. Key features include a classic N logo on either side, as well as range specific 580 branding on the tongues, giving the chunky runners a familiar feel.
Our next addition comes in the form of the New Balance 9060, one of the Boston-based brand’s latest models. Showcasing a head-turning look, the kicks are decked out in a rich brown colour, with pink, purple and green details really sealing the deal here. Graffiti-style New Balance branding is embroidered onto the heels, while the chunky midsole offers up ABZORB cushioning to ensure that these are comfortable enough for daily wear.
Last but by no means least, the New Balance 650R offers up vintage flair, seen here decked out in an ultra-clean triple white colourway. Acting as the high-top rendition of the immensely popular 550, the 650R was given the Aimé Leon Dore treatment earlier this year, proving the silhouette as a pair that could handle the big league. Accentuated with hits of grey and black, the basketball-centric sneakers look better than ever here.
