Sneakerheads have been eagerly awaiting the return of Nike ’s iconic Shox silhouette this year, after it was revealed back in December 2022 that the model would be making a comeback. As we head into August, it looks like we’re finally inching closer to a release date, as another colourway is rumoured to join the Shox line-up: the Nike Shox TL “Black/Grey” .
Known for its innovative, spring-inspired sole unit (you can read the story behind that thanks to our ‘Discover’ series ) the Shox is one of the most recognizable models on the market, and has enjoyed quite the resurgence in recent years thanks to the likes of Martine Rose and Supreme. For this “Black/Grey” Shox TL colourway, in particular, the Swoosh opts to keep things simple, sticking to the TL’s usual mesh base and leather overlays. Though the majority of the pair’s make-up sticks to tonal shades throughout, a pop of colour is welcomed on the tongue tabs, as the Shox branding takes on a vibrant “Volt” hue.
Unfortunately, Shox fans are still going to have to wait a little longer for a release date, as Nike is still yet to confirm a launch date for the “Black/Grey” Nike Shox TL.
