Nike’s run of “Bright Side” styles is set to continue with the newly added edition of an Air Max 97. Following on from a couple of Dunks and Air Force 1s, the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette is the latest to get the pastel corduroy touch, so let’s take a closer look at the Air Max 97 “Bright Side.”
Taking on muted shades of orange, green and coral, the “Bright Side” AM97 sees the shoe’s wavy upper come constructed from canvas and corduroy. Starting off with a coral cord base, the shoe takes on a gradient look working upwards, with orange and yellow panels fading into green canvas at the top. The tongue and lace unit come done up in cream and pastel pink, and a soft, muted taupe dresses the liners.
Like the other upcoming “Bright Side” releases, details come in the form of randomly placed tassels on the midfoot, and cute yellow tongue tabs, heel tabs, and a yellow mini Swoosh. The pair sit on a white midsole with the 97’s signature visible Air unit, and a gum outsole brings the “Bright Side” Air Max 97’s muted "Yellow Pink" colour palette together.
The “Bright Side” Nike Air Max 97 is set for release alongside other “Bright Side” styles sometime this spring, so be sure to keep it locked for more info as it comes in, as we’ll be the first to let you know!
