Nike Teases New Kobe Sneaker Ahead of the Brand's Relaunch

Earlier this year it was revealed that Nike was set to relaunch the Kobe line, and with Mamba day growing ever closer, we’ve finally been given a glimpse of the first new sneaker. Set to be revealed in full in a North America-exclusive SNKRS preview later on today, here’s everything we know so far.

Teased over on Instagram just yesterday, the Swoosh’s basketball division posted a short video depicting a sneaker silhouette and a basketball. While the black and white colour-grading renders it unclear, it looks as if the new pair could be a new Kobe 8 colourway, but there’s a small chance that it could be a new (albeit similar) looking model instead. Underneath the shoe, the video shows a clock that counts down to 08:23:23 - a day before the brand’s planned relaunch.
