With summer well and truly here, not only are things about to heat up in the real world, temperatures are rising in the sneaker world too. After the insanely hyped month that was May, June is following it up with some of the hottest drops in a very long time. From Virgil Abloh's second posthumous Off-White collaboration to Tom Sach's long-awaited Nike project, we're also getting some pretty fire Air Max 1s and Air Jordan 4s as well. So that you don't have to look through our entire Release Calendar, we've highlighted the most hyped sneakers set to launch in June 2022 down below!
If you want any of these coveted creps in your summer rotation, then make sure you hit the "Notify me" buttons and you'll be kept up-to-date as soon as more release info comes through. This is best way to secure your size so do it now before it's too late! It's also worth keeping this article saved and bookmarked as we'll be adding new pairs in here weekly!
To kick things off, there are two must-have Air Jordan 4s on the way, namely the "Blank Canvas" and the "Zen Master". The former drops the usual leather construction in favour of a versatile canvas upper that's perfect for the summer months ahead, while the latter is inspired by legendary Bulls coach Phil Jackson who is famous for his unique style of thinking which is influenced by Eastern and Native American teachings.
Rumour has it that stock levels are pretty good, so your chances of copping will increase a little. With that said, you still need to make sure you're kept up-to-date at all times, so hit that "Notify me" button now.
Following 2020's esteemed Dunk collaboration, South Korea's Kasina and the US' Nike have reunited once again for a very special collection. This time taking on the AM1, this project celebrates the 25th birthday of the street boutique, and the 35th anniversary of the legendary Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette. Arriving in "Orange" and "Grey" options, this is definitely one for the Swoosh fans out there.
Boasting a melody of materials including soft pony hair and supple nubuck, Kasina uses wooden mandarin ducks known as kireogi to symbolise this union. These are traditionally given as marriage gifts in Korea because, unlike other duck breeds, they mate for life. If one of the pair passes away the other will mourn. While this might sound somewhat morbid, it showcases the close relationship that the label has with the Beaverton-based footwear company.
Virgil Abloh was working on his Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid collaboration for quite some time before his untimely passing back in November. Celebrating the iconic basketball model's 40th anniversary, it will be available in two colourways including "Black" and "White".
While the late Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton designer could've just replicated his usual AF1 Low formula and called it a day, he did so much more than just that. With a fabric and ripstop upper, the side Swooshes are made of a see-through plastic that adds depth to the design. The midsole features a wavy aesthetic that looks like it has come straight out of the factory, while a little hole has been cut-out to showcase the Air bubble within. Of course, you can't talk about these pairs without mentioning the neon rubber spikes underfoot.
Whatever Tom Sachs is on, we want some. Following the release of the truly insane Overshoe back in 2019, the New York-based creative is following that up with something unusually understated. In fact, the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe was intentionally made to be boring. Coined as an "ordinary shoe for extraordinary people", every single aspect of this sneaker is designed to be a tool rather than a fashion piece.
Borrowing elements from silhouettes like the Killshot and Waffle, if you're searching for a shoe that is ready for anything, this is the perfect one for you. We're also getting news that some more colourways are on the way, including a bright yellow one, so stay tuned.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Chris Gibbs and his talented team will be taking on the Cortez in the form of the Union LA x Nike Cortez "Khaki". Taking the usual all-leather construction and switching everything out for a plethora of materials, buttery suede and hard-wearing canvas make up the majority of the upper, and this is all dipped in an earthy beige hue that works with any fit you throw at it.
While ULA's take on the retro runner doesn't stray too far away from the OG's aesthetic, you have to admire what they've done to it. Rumour has it that three more colourways are on the way, so make sure you keep it locked right here for the latest updates!
This is the moment we've all been waiting for. After restocking in Asia in December and returning Stateside in January, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Blue Tint", that was originally meant to drop during the last week of November, will now be making a comeback in the UK and EU in June. Regarded by many sneakerheads as one of the best 350s in existence, if you didn't get a chance to cop back in 2017, now is your chance.
Arriving in a light blue hue, this YZY is decked out with grey striping throughout, while red accenting makes its way to the "SPLY-350" text on the lateral and medial side panels. Thick rope laces tie everything together, while the signature cross stitching runs across the centre of the upper from the toebox all the way to the heel.
If you're not sure what size to cop for any of the sneakers listed above, make sure you check out The Sole Supplier's size guides:
