Having recently revealed that we can still expect ‘at least a year's worth of releases to come’, Nike and Off-White have been continuing their longstanding partnership under the watchful eye of Shannon Abloh, who has taken control of her late husband’s creative endeavours. The pair recently revealed that the much-awaited “Green Spark” Off-White x Nike AF1 colourway would be dropping alongside the designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, but now it’s looking like the rumoured “Ghost Grey” version of the sneaker could hit the shelves soon too - although that may be limited to a certain city.
Though the pair remains a rumour right now, a mock-up by sneaker insider zsneakerheadz suggests that the “Ghost Grey” sneaker will arrive with tonal grey uppers and stitched-on metallic Swooshes, much like previous colourways from the museum series. Other details arrive in the form of signature Off-White finishes: exposed stitching, “NIKE AIR” branding and a tonal zip-tie tag all serve to remind us of Virgil’s incredible and extensive design legacy.
The “Ghost Grey” Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 is rumoured to drop as a Paris exclusive during Spring 2023 so chances are you’ll have to get a Paris plug at the ready or face paying a hefty amount at resale, but be sure to stay locked to The Sole Supplier as more info becomes available.
Up next, more Air Jordan 1 colourways are set to be "Reimagined" in 2023.
