Ever one for keeping busy, Louis Vuitton Creative Director and all-around megastar Pharrell Williams has begun to prep his next delivery of adidas Sambas. Building on both his football-themed Humanrace capsule, and his “Colours by Pharrell“ collection, this latest instalment of the silhouette includes three pairs that each boast premium details.
First previewed at the Samba Cafe pop-up during Paris Fashion Week, the three new pairs arrive in an array of easy-to-wear monochromatic tones, spanning “Terracotta”, “White” and “Black” - colours that are very reminiscent of Raf Simons’ early adidas Stan Smith collabs. Dubbed the “Humanrace Samba Tones” pack, each model comes crafted from premium yet sustainable ECCO leather and boasts a sleek, minimalist construction with simple exposed stitching, as well as leather laces for a luxurious touch. Like Pharrell’s previous take on the Samba, each pair features a high-cut tongue tab, nodding to the classic Samba’s wealth of heritage while offering up a timeless spin on the silhouette.
The Humanrace Samba Tones pack is set to drop on the 12th of August, and will make a solid addition to any rotation. If these are on your radar, then be sure to hit the release reminder links below for your best shot at securing your size, and in the meantime, check out Palace's latest Crocs collab.
