The Ultimate Reshoevn8r Review - Does It Work?

One of the biggest players in the game, Reshoevn8r was created in 2010 by Steve Grear. For over a decade, the sneaker cleaning brand has made its way from Arizona to across the world, delivering with it some of the most extensive and effective shoe care products on the market.

On top of this, Reshoevn8r have already created and fostered a community of sneaker enthusiasts through their commitment to education. Their ever-popular YouTube channel has amassed over 1 million subscribers with their weekly cleaning tutorials, sneaker customs, and restorations by brand ambassador, Vick Almighty.

Over the past few years, The Sole Supplier have tried out a bunch of sneaker cleaning products and we know a thing or two about them. With that said, for the first time ever we'll be conducting an in-depth review into Reshoevn8r's flagship shoe cleaning items, including the Cleaning Solution, Sneaker Wipes, Sole Revive, and Water And Stain Repellent. Grear and his talented team are always adding more products to their range so make sure you bookmark this page and we might take a deep-dive into those as well.

The Reshoevn8r Cleaning Solution does exactly what it says on the tin. Coming in two sizes, this is probably one of their more popular products. Made from a 100% all-natural formula, it supposedly cleans and conditions most types of sneakers, including but not limited to the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk.

To use the Cleaning Solution, fill a bowl with water and add a small amount of the solution into it. After mixing for a good amount of time, dip an appropriate brush into the liquid and scrub the shoe until it lathers. If the stain is still there, repeat this step until the mark comes off fully. We tried Reshoevn8r's Cleaning Solution on a collection of different silhouettes and we can confirm that it definitely works! One thing that we noticed though was that the Cleaning Solution works best and more "solid" materials. Knit uppers as seen on sneakers like the Air VaporMax or the NMD will take a little bit more work, but it's actually quite effective. You might also want to use a softer brush for these ones as you don't want to tear the material and you'll want to get into the gaps in the material.

For those unexpected marks and scuffs, the Reshoevn8r Sneaker Wipes are your go-to solution to tackle them while you're on the move. Coming in 100% recyclable packaging, this is perfect for when you're travelling and you don't want to bring your entire cleaning kit with you. Each pack comes with 24 individually-wrapped wipes too so whether you're rocking the latest Air Jordan 4 collab or have a pair of adidas Ozweego with you, you're covered from all angles. They're especially great for keeping premium materials safe from long-term marks and damage.

Unlike many rival products, Sneaker Wipes aren't just fancy baby wipes. One size features a subtle texture that allows you to tackle any tough stains, while the other is smooth to wipe off anything. Sneaker Wipes are safe to use on leather, plastic, vinyl, and rubber.

Essentially, yes. Reshoevn8r's Sneaker Wipes work pretty well for the most part. With that said, the brand does warn you not to use them for light coloured suede or nubuck, so while we were tempted to try them on a pair of all-white suede Air Force 1s, we honestly didn't want to chance it.

When it comes to sneakers, midsole yellowing is a natural phenomenon, more prevalent with Boost sneakers like the adidas EQT and the Ultra Boost. The Reshoevn8r Sole Revive is specially crafted to remove oxidation from rubber and clear bottom soles. This is a great solution for rolling the years back to get those old pairs looking box fresh.

According to the company, Sole Revive works with UV lights to remove unwanted yellowing on your favourite creps. Coming in a squeezable container, use this product on the midsole of the shoe that you want to revive, and using a fine brush paint it across the unit. Afterwards, wrap your shoe up in cling film and leave to dry.

We tried Reshoevn8r's Sole Revive on a pair of Yeezy 500 where the adiPRENE midsole was yellowing severely and it worked an absolute treat. It's worth noting though that some sneakers might feature a slightly off-white midsole for a vintage vibe. The Sole Revive is filled with very white ink so using this might tarnish the retro aesthetic. This is a safer solution to the commonly used method of hydrogen peroxide, which can cause greater damage to your shoes and even yourself if not handled correctly.

Reshoevn8r Water And Stain Repellent is one of the most popular sneaker care sprays on the market. Creating an invisible shield around your favourite shoes whether they be premium suede New Balance 990s or a pair of your favourite Yeezys, this is the ultimate protection for your shoes. It's supposedly fast drying too and can be used on almost any material to protect against liquid and stains.

Unlike some competitors, the Water And Stain Repellent doesn't change the colour of your sneakers. To use it, spray from a distance of around 20cm and apply it evenly across the entire sneaker. It's important that you don't completely drench your pair with the spray as it's not necessary and will just be a waste. If you do spray too much on, simply give the material a light dabbing to remove the excess.

We tried this out on a pair of 350 V2s and even a pair 700 V2s and found that it works perfectly on a wide range of materials including canvas, nubuck, and suede. You might have to re-apply another coat in a month, and the brand also warns not to use it on patent leather. We were tempted to try this out to see what would happen but backed out last minute for obvious reasons.

Whether you're a hardcore sneakerhead or you're just starting to get into the culture, Reshoevn8r is absolutely essential to keep your sneakers looking fresh. Whether it's the Cleaning Solution or the Sole Revive, each item has been designed by trainer fans, for trainer fans.
