Introduced back in 1987 as the first sneaker from the Air Max family, the Nike Air Max 1 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and remains a classic even today. While it was originally intended to act as a running sneaker, the pair is now a revered lifestyle staple, and the highly-coveted “Crepe” edition is set to make a comeback. Titled the Nike Air Max 1 “Soft Grey”, the pair is crafted from supple suede across the upper, with Nike’s signature Swoosh logo placed across the lateral and medial sides in leather. Range-specific Air Max branding resides at the tongues, while the look is completed by a white midsole that encases a visible Air Max bubble for optimal cushioning.
The outsole adopts the classic “Crepe” design rather than the usual AM1 pattern, giving the sneakers a more casual look. Plenty of sneakerheads will be excited about the return of this feature, so will you be looking to get your hands on these? They're rumoured to launch on the 24th February, so stay locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for more details as they emerge, and while you’re with us check out every upcoming AJ4 in 2023!
