After getting a glimpse of the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Electro Orange" last week, we're now taking our first look at another shoe that's inspired by the iconic "Shattered Backboard" - the Nike Dunk Low "Starfish"! Unveiled by House Of Heat, this colourway pays homage to the 1985 NBA season when Michael Jordan dunked so hard at the net that it completely smashed the glass on the backboard, resulting in the birth of the now-legendary moniker.
Crafted entirely from premium leather, the heel and toebox of the "Starfish" are dipped in a bold orange hue, while the front mudguards and lacing system arrive in "Black". "Nike" branding is finely stitched across the tongue and back, and of course, it wouldn't be a Dunk Low without the Swoosh that shoots across the lateral and medial side panels.

To complement the "Sail" base, the midsole underfoot has also been painted in a complementary hue. This is then finished off with a black rubber outsole, finalising the Air Jordan 1-inspired aesthetic that we all know and love.
While these are just mock-ups for now, they're a pretty accurate portrayal of what the Nike Dunk Low "Starfish" will look like when it drops this autumn. Let us know if you'll be adding this colourway to your personal collection, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "What The P-Rod"!
