Sneaker Spotlight: The New Balance 550 "Mint Green"

The Boston-based brand is the gift that keeps on giving! In case you missed it, the New Balance 550 "White Mint Green" recently dropped at Foot Locker as an in-store exclusive, and boy, are we sad we missed out on these! However, let's take a closer look at them so you're all prepped for a wider release if it happens.

Dressed in a clean white and green colour scheme, this New Balance 550 follows in the footsteps of the UNC and triple-white iterations that have come before in terms of its colour-blocking, and as well as the all-leather construction. As usual, NB's large 'N' insignia sits on the medial and lateral sidewall in the titular green hue, whilst branding at the bottom of the tongue, mesh, and leather panelling all follow suit on the upper. Underfoot, the rubber outsole matches to this palette and also houses the usual New Balance branding on the midsole.

Finishing off the look, New Balance reminds us of the sneaker's roots with a basketball-inspired design on the label at the top of the tongue.

There's no denying that this is one of the biggest Ls we've taken all year.
