Stray Rats and New Balance go way, way back, but somehow their collabs seem to get better every year. For SS23, the US-based brand has turned its attention to the Boston-based imprint’s 574 silhouette - a shoe that’s enjoyed quite the revival over the past few months thanks to the likes of Stone Island and Miu Miu.
Painting the model in three summer-ready colourways - spanning everything from bold black and red, to bright purple and blue, to a (slightly) more muted olive and pink, each pair conveys the Stray Rats brand’s audacious attitude. These colours work their way across bases of smooth nylon and hairy suede, the contrast in materials further highlighting the clashing hues.
Right now, it's looking like the pairs are set to land exclusively at Stray Rats at some point in July. However, be sure to stay locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news and releases.
Up next, Saucony's latest sneaker is made from mushrooms.
