The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High has got to be one of this year's hottest releases. When it first leaked back in July we thought there was no way it would release in 2021, especially when you bear in mind that their Air Jordan 3 only dropped in May. But James Whitner and his talented team stop for no one, making his AJ1 this week's undisputed hottest release!
Arriving in a clean light cream hue, The AMM Air Jordan 1 honours the realities of daily life in Black communities. Deep burgundy accents contrast against the crisp backdrop, making its way along the winged basketball insignia, laces, and of course, the Swoosh that shoots across the lateral and medial side panels.
If you thought this shoe was all minimal then you'd be very wrong. Taking a closer look at the AJ1 you'll find that it's packed with cool details throughout. Co-branded detailing can be found on the outside of the tongue, while the ankle flaps are printed with "Learning's a gift, even when pain's your teacher" complete with Michael Jordan's signature just below it. This all sits on top of a pre-aged Nike Air midsole that gives the sneaker a vintage vibe.
The A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Jordan 1 High "Maroon" is set to land this week on December 3rd. Packed in a special edition shoebox, this is without a doubt one of the hottest collabs of the entire year. Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for your best chance to cop and in related news, could the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Patent Royal" really be in the works?
