As one of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes of all time, the Air Jordan 1 has birthed plenty of legendary colourways of its own over the years, however this time around it’s taking a few hints from it’s younger sibling, the AJ3. While the AJ1 was launched in 1985, the AJ3 didn’t hit the market until 1988, and was the first Jordan model to feature the now-iconic “elephant print” graphic, designed by none other than Tinker Hatfield. For this brand-new rendition, the AJ1 is decked out in the same graphic, offering a familiar look that will no doubt appeal to hardcore Jordan collectors.
Crafted from what looks to be premium nubuck and leather, the kicks are predominately white, with all overlaid panels showcasing the elephant print. Nike Swoosh logos are placed on both the lateral and medial sides, while the label’s signature wings logo is embossed onto the collars in black. Rumoured to release in early 2023, these are one of the most eagerly-anticipated pairs of Jordans in a long time. Make sure to stay tuned right here at The Sole Supplier for further details as they’re unveiled, and while you’re here check out the latest regarding the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Lost & Found”!
