The Jordan 4 “Rare Air” Is Finally Releasing This Week

Everyone's talking about how 2025 may be the biggest year of releases we’ve seen from Jordan Brand, with a lineup that’s making sneakerheads drool. From the return of classics like the Jordan 5 “Fire Red” and the AJ1 “Shattered Backboard” to brand-new colourways like the Jordan 3 “Starfish”. One of the most anticipated Jordan releases of the year however is still to come, and it looks set to drop this week.

The Jordan 4 “Rare Air” has been on our radar for over a year now and we have felt every day of the long wait. Sporting a mix of black nubuck base with dark grey details, accents of fire red and deep royal blue pop through strongly on this colourway. We're digging the dusty finish on the mudguard and the visible contrast stitching gives it a vintage look, completed by aged off-white midsole accents.

The standout detail however is the interchangeable tongue branding, where the titular text cheekily peeks from behind velcro, buddying up with the Jumpman “Flight” tag. On select few pairs, this text detailing has been embellished with gold lettering, putting the rare in “Rare Air”. As the cherry on top, the insole flaunts a unique “Rare Air” Swoosh, adding special touches that make this pair stand out.

The official release date of the Jordan 4 “Rare Air” is set for the 26th of July via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers. Some retailers such as END. are currently running raffles which you can enter by clicking through to the product page above.
