The BAPE x New Balance 57/40 Collaboration Now Has a Release Date

In 2021, BAPE and New Balance teamed up for a collaborative take on the 2002R silhouette. The Japanese streetwear label and Boston footwear powerhouse have now reunited to focus on the modernised version of the classic 574. The BAPE x New Balance 57/40 collaboration finally has an official release date; here's everything you need to know!

The upcoming BAPE 57/40s borrow the same theme as the 2002R, featuring fighter-jet-inspired shark teeth graphic and classic "A BATHING APE" branding hits.

Arriving in "Green", "Grey" and "Multi" colourways, BAPE's signature ABC Camo motif adorns all three colourways via the "N" logos midfoot. Mesh and suede materials make up most of the upper for a premium look accompanied by an exaggerated sole unit underfoot that completes the 5740's retro aesthetic. BAPE's APE head logo marks the tongue of the left shoe and NB's The Intellegent Choice 57/40 branding on the right.
