Known for its elevated and tasteful collaborative projects, UK-based retailer Footpatrol is back once again, this time joining forces with Japanese sportswear label Mizuno. The brand has been on the rise in recent years, with plenty of sneakerheads beginning to favour various silhouettes, such as the Contender, the model in question here. Dubbed the “Post Match” collection, the capsule is inspired by British football heritage, with the sneakers decked out in varying shades of grey and black for a seasonally-appropriate look. Blue details feature throughout the kicks, while Mizuno’s signature branding features on either side of the sneakers.
Alongside this, a dual-branded football jersey is also set to release that mirrors the design of the footwear offering. The jersey showcases both Footpatrol and Mizuno branding, as well as Reckless Records on the chest, an iconic record shop in London’s Soho district. Set to drop exclusively at Footpatrol on the 10th December, will you be looking to get your hands on anything from this collection?
