There's nothing worse than the weather letting you down on those days when you're wearing your fave kicks - and in the UK, that's literally every day. Getting us ready for those April showers, the Jordan Brand have dressed their ever-popular Air Jordan 1 silhouette with water-resistant GORE-TEX, firstly on the "Light Curry" colourway, and now this "Berry" iteration that resembles the Jordan 1 Mid "Berry" we laid eyes on not long back.
Constructed from a mixture of materials, including nubuck, leather and ripstop, this Element Jordan 1 will have your feet staying dry and toasty, whilst providing plenty of breathability and comfort. Underfoot you can see the rubber outsole takes on both dark and lilac tones in an unusual fashion, whilst the hues on the upper tie in with the theme.
The profile Nike Swooshes stand pride of place in dark colouring, matching to the GORE-TEX branding on the heel, Wings logo on the ankle panels, cushioning and lace unit. Around the toe, waterproof suede dresses the panelling in the titular "Berry" colouring, corresponding to the design on the eyelets and heel. Clashing with the pink theme, red Nike branding makes itself home on the top of tongue - only adding to the berry theme - whilst an off-white midsole adds a touch of clarity to the sneaker.
All finished up with a black lace unit, this is bound to be a must-cop for AJ1 fans everywhere, regardless of the weather.
