After first being unveiled months ago, the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk is finally set to release this October. In typical Virgil style, the upcoming sneakers are as bold as ever releasing in three standout colourways, Black/Green Strike, University Gold and University Blue.
Virgil Abloh once again brings his unique touch and creative design approach to this latest collab with the Swoosh brand, co-creating a brand new silhouette titled the Air Rubber Dunk. The eye-catching colour palettes are accompanied by a layered design, created by the mixed-material uppers. Lightweight mesh creates a breathable base, with premium suede and leather overlays that work along the sidewalls. The design of the upper resembles that of the sporty and retro-style P-6000, whilst the rest of the silhouette takes on a Dunk aesthetic.
There's nothing simple about this silhouette, with the classic deconstructed details and the signature, overlayed type across the medial side panels on each shoe. Outlined rubber Swooshes sit layered across both sidewalls in vibrant Green Strike, University Gold and University Blue. The blue Off-White Rubber Dunk is the only shoe to feature a gum outsole, with shining metallic silver details across the upper for a futuristic feel. The iconic zip-tag comes attached to the laces of each sneaker rounding off the look with dual branding across the tongues.
Rumoured to be arriving on the 1st October 2020 however the University Blue colourway will be the only one dropping in the UK, will you be trying to cop the women's Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk Green Strike/Black, Blue/White or Gold?
