Patta and Vans are both enormous brands in their own rights and the duo have teamed up plenty of times before, offering refined footwear staples with a streetwear twist. If you’re looking to elevate your footwear rotation with some high-heat then look no further, as the two labels have joined forces once again to launch an updated “Mean Eyed Cats” collection that consists of the Old-Skool, the Sk8-Hi and a whole range of apparel.
The same theme has appeared twice previously throughout the Patta x Vans collaborative history, once in 2015 and then again in 2017, with both releases met with huge success. The pack showcases vibrant colours across the classic silhouettes and plenty of logos to ensure that everybody knows what you’re rocking! This is definitely not a collaboration for those of us who prefer subtle touches.
Crafted from premium canvas and suede across the uppers in traditional skateboarding style, the sneakers all feature Vans’ iconic jazz stripe logo running across either side, which is stitched on top of the Patta script logo which many will already know and love. Dual-branding is once again featured on the tongues, heel-tabs, and even printed onto the insoles for another limited-edition touch!
This all sits on top of blacked-out rubber sole units which are reinforced for skate purposes and are printed with the “Mean Eyed Cats'' motif. Alongside the sneakers a full apparel collection will also be launching. If you’re looking to cop anything from the range then you can get your hands on it via Patta stores and online from July 9th. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest and while you’re here check out Palace’s collaboration with Juergen Teller!
