The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React "Cactus Jack" is unlike anything we've ever seen before. A collaboration that first leaked all the way back in July, it's insanely different when compared to La Flame's other Swoosh sneakers, and to be honest, we're kind of digging the peculiar aesthetic. Scheduled to drop this week on May 1st, this is the perfect shoe to kick off the new month!

Building on the uber comfortable Air Max 270 React, the "Cactus Jack" features a creamy mesh upper that's taken straight from the silhouette's ENG variant. Buttery smooth suede panelling graces the ankle and toe box in tan and brown accents respectively, while light grey leather hits the lacing system for an even more unique look that is sure to turn heads.
Speaking of which, instead of a conventional lace set up, the "Cactus Jack" utilises a toggle switch for utilitarian vibes. This is done up in a bright blue hue for a striking pop of contrast that you'll never forget. Moving downwards, you'll find a crazy React x Air midsole that looks like it's been painted over with oil and left to dry.
This is the single design feature that has made this collab so controversial, as if gives off a kind of thrifted look that's weirdly all the rage these days. To round it all off, a single orange Nike Swoosh is embroidered onto the lateral heel, finishing off the design.
The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React "Cactus Jack" is set to launch this week on May 1st. While there is a chance that this could change last minute due to delays caused by the coronavirus, that's the date you should be marking on your calendar right now! Let us know if you'll be adding a pair of these to your personal collection, and while you're here, take an on-foot look at the Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon KK!
