Following their coveted Air Jordan 4 collaboration, it looks like Union LA will be taking a small break from Jordan Brand and will refocus their energies on a different silhouette: the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low. After taking a sneak peek of the "Blue" colourway last month, the "Green" has now just surfaced online - and we're taking our best look yet!
Featuring a synthetic upper that's overlaid by a ripstop material, Chris Gibbs' take on the Dunk Low is pretty unique to say the least. With a light green base, dark blue panels wrap around the back, toebox, and lacing system. A Swoosh shoots across the sidewalls while the Los Angeles brand's signature yellow tag adorns the laterals.
ULA's Frontman logo can be found around the heel and within the outsole, and this all comes packaged within a special edition shoebox which kind of looks like a credit card or a boarding pass. This is a new design direction that we've never seen from Union, so we're pretty hyped to see what plans they have with Nike come 2022.
While a release date has yet to be announced, we predict that the Union LA x Nike Dunk Low "Green" will drop sometime in Summer 2022. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Union LA x Air Jordan 2 "Rattan"!
