If you didn't get a chance to cop the "Cloud White" earlier this month, then it looks like Kanye West is giving you another chance to cop his latest silhouette with the Yeezy 450 "Dark Slate". Unveiled as part of the Spring 2021 line-up, this upcoming colourway is seriously stealthy, and here's everything that we know so far.
A completely inverted take on the aforementioned "Cloud White", this Yeezy boasts a full Primeknit upper that can be compared to the texture found on the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu. An in-built lacing system gives it 350 V2 vibes, while a stretchy sock-liner harkens back to the 380. This all comes together to create an insanely comfortable experience that, like Ned Flanders one said, feels like you're "wearing nothing at all!"
Of course, you can't talk about the 450 without mentioning the crazy midsole. The brainchild of visionary footwear design Steven Smith, the unit is made up of several spikes that points upwards towards the upper. This results in a chunky aesthetic that's comparable other adidas greats such as the 500 and the 700.
Debuting sometime in June, the adidas Yeezy 450 "Dark Slate" is unlike anything we've seen before, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! Let us know if you'll giving this whacky model a chance, and in related news, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Light" features a colour changing upper!
