If you thought May was hectic wait until see what's dropping in June! Next month's calendar is bursting at the seams with one high-heat release after another! Not only are several Yeezys expected but there's even more unmissable Jordan 1s and Air Force 1s on the way. Seriously, this is shaping up to be an exciting (and expensive) month.
Here we list 10 of the most sought-after releases. Although some of these aren't officially confirmed, they are heavily rumoured to be dropping within the next few weeks. As always, to stay in the know when it comes to the latest releases, be sure to download The Sole Supplier app.
As an update on everyone's favourite Yeezy, you might have expected a little more hype for the Yeezy 380! Sure, the two styles to launch up to now were quick to sellout but demand didn't come close to what was seen for the early Yeezy 350s. Maybe this is a style that will become more popular with time, or maybe the right colourway hasn't been unveiled yet. The question is, will you be trying to cop the Yeezy Boost 380 "Blue Oat"? It's one of several releases rumoured to launch next month, apparently hitting retailers on June 20th.
Nike's Air Force 1 can't put a foot wrong at the moment. It's arguably the most popular silhouette of 2020 and the hype doesn't look to be slowing any time soon. Far from it, especially as Nike have plans to reissue some highly prized colourways from back in the day. Take the Nike Air Force 1 "Puerto Rico" which is almost identical to the 2005 model. These are launching across UK stockists on June 1st.
Ocean Environmental Group Parley join the Three Stripes yet again for a range of footwear crafted almost entirely from plastic that's been removed from the world's most polluted beaches. It features the same iconic wavy knit fabric only this time, the look is sleeker than ever. Void of any caging, this pair takes on a similar form to the likes of that Solebox x Ultra Boost - a pair so hyped is still resells for close to £1000. Of course, this ocean-inspired theme is completely unique. The Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged launches in a white and black colourway on June 8th.
Launching as part of a wider collection, this Jewel encrusted Air Max 90 is about as eye-catching as it gets. The vibrant theme is made even more appealing thanks to that embossed Swoosh, a feature seen on many sellout Nike trainers of the past. Air Force 1s in a similar theme join the Nike Air Max 90 Home Away "White Orange" when the pack releases on June 6th.
The Jordan 1 never really goes out of fashion but just like the Air Force 1, this pair seems to be enjoying a major revival. Countless styles already launched this year and the heat continues with this one-of-kind colourway. A funky tie-dye print stretches across the entire upper making these look more like a collaborative drop rather than general release. Thankfully, stock isn't expected to be limited! The Jordan 1 High "Tie Dye" launches on June 11th.
Those of you who paid resell for the Yeezy 350 "Zebra" back in 2017 will probably be feeling salty right about now. After all, this shoe was re-selling for upwards of £1,200 but that was before the countless restocks to follow. It soon plummeted in price but these still sell for close to £400. Good news is, yet another restock is on the cards. The Yeezy Boost 350 "Zebra" is thought to be launching again globally on or around June 27th.
How could we talk about June's hottest releases without mention of at least one Pride-inspired release. It's during this time of month every year that adidas, Nike and countless other brands unveil a collection of footwear in support of the LGBT community. 2020 is no exception as a colourful array of pairs recently got leaked. One of the most interesting has to be the Nike Air Force 1 BeTrue 2020 "White" which sits on an icy midsole and features a PRIDE flag motif across the heel. Stay tuned for more info as these launch June 19th.
Following on from last year's animal-inspired Jordan 3, this pairs goes even heavier with the safari treatment. That's right, almost every conceivable animal print makes an appearance! That includes crocodile, snakeskin and elephant inspired leather - talk about wild! The Jordan 3 SE Animal Instinct 2.0 "Black" is set to launch on June 6th!
Admittedly, this upcoming Yeezy 350 isn't too different to several of the other earthy-toned colourways. Take a closer though and there's plenty that sets apart the "Zyon". It starts with that clean white midsole, loaded with Boost technology, of course - before a colliding use of browns, beige and black hits that patterned Primeknit. This is one versatile pair and as such, you can expect plenty of hype amongst Yeezy enthusiasts. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Zyon" is rumoured to launch June 13th.
To coincide with this year's Nike SB Dunk revival, Virgil Abloh reprises his Off-White x Nike collaboration for no less than three SB Dunk colourways! Not much is known of this collection but images have already surfaced for this deconstructed trio, arriving in "Black", "University Gold" and "Blue". Whilst some accounts are hinting at an imminent release, don't get too excited as this is very much speculation. Let's hope the Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk launches in June, but for more concrete info, you'll want to stay tuned!
