As any fan of the Californian skate imprint will know, Vans isn't exactly one to shy away from a collaborative effort. After linking up with Supreme for one of the most high-profile drops of the season last week, Vans is now looking to celebrate one of its most important European Partners - WP Store.
For those unfamiliar with WP, it's an Italian fashion company that was the first to bring Vans to Italian shores back in 1982. With similar family-orientated business roots, the relationship between Vans and WP has flourished over the years, leading the Vans team to explore the Italian label's archive. As a result, the pair have developed a capsule of both apparel and footwear, utilising eye-catching patchwork and denim designs.
From a footwear perspective, we see three new colourways of the Vans Authentic. Red, navy and black all arrive with a patchwork bandana-like print made from a fabric developed exclusively by WP for Vans during the '80s. Each comes equipped with a thick white midsole and contrasting white details on the uppers.
In terms of apparel, the duo has embraced Americana styling, giving way to denim jackets, jeans, tees and more. Leading the selection is the Loose Fit Jean Jacket, a denim piece constructed from 14oz heavyweight denim in a premium stonewash hue. For those looking to get their hands on this collection, it will be available globally on the 9th of June via both Vans and WP's websites. In other fashion news, Palace x Oakley relives the eyewear brand's '00s glory days.
