Which New Yeezy Silhouette For 2020 Are You Most Hyped For?

You know how the old saying goes: New year, new Yeezy. While 2019 focused on expanding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and Yeezy 700 offerings, 2020 will place a pretty big emphasis on all-new silhouettes. Just this year alone, we should expect four fresh models that have never dropped before. From the Quantum to the Foam Runner, we've covered the main ones that are sure to cause a storm when they finally launch this year.

To kick it all off, the silhouette that you are least excited for is the Yeezy Foam Runner at 13%. While we can't say we're at all surprised, there's a part of us that think that sneakerheads aren't giving it a chance. Putting the environment at the forefront of its design, this clog is partially made from sustainable algae. While many of us have complained say that it looks pretty ugly, that's exactly what was said about the "Wave Runner" when it first dropped back in 2017, and it's now one of the most sought after YZY sneakers to date.

Next stop is the Yeezy 451 at 22%. A shoe that's been in the works for over two years now, hype was at an all-time high when Ye himself flexed it on Twitter back in 2018. With that said, it's been way too long now and we have yet to see anything to come from these leaks. All we know is that it'll feature an extremely unique midsole that's the brainchild of legendary designer Steven Smith, who is also the man behind the Reebok Instapump Fury, the New Balance 574, and the Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum.

Afterwards is the Yeezy Quantum at 32%. Serving as Yeezus' basketball shoe debut, this particular model has gone through a ton of redesigns over the past few years, but the final retail model will feature an aesthetic that is very similar to the 700 V3 "Azael". Infused with Boost, rumour has it that there will be two versions of the bball shoe, with one made for the court and the other focusing on everyday wear.

To no one's surprise, the most hyped silhouette for 2020 is the Yeezy 700 MNVN at a whopping 33%. If you can remember, this silhouette first leaked as the 700 VX when Kanye himself gifted a sample pair to 6ix9ine's manager in 2018. A deconstructed take on his beloved chunky trainer, it strips back the materials, replacing the usual leather and suede construction for a full nylon one that's as versatile as it gets. So far, we know that four colourways will be hitting shelves this year, with the first one dropping as early as next month!
