After being announced back at the start of the year in typical unpredictable Ye fashion, our first look at Yeezy x GAP Engineered by Balenciaga is finally here. This latest release arrives following 2021's slow release of key Yeezy x GAP staples such as the Round Jacket and the Perfect Hoodie.
While 2021's Yeezy x GAP release may have divided many streetwear fans across the globe, it was actually named the most hyped collaboration of 2021 by the LYST index, according to its user behaviour and search data. This undoubtedly left both fans of Kanye as well as Yeezy chomping at the bit for the next release.
The drop is set to coincide with the release of Ye's Donda 2 album, an album that is set to launch via his newly release Stem player. Included within the offerings, we see a hoodie, two T-Shirts and a pair of trousers, each bearing the classic oversized Yeezy silhouette.
We see each upper body piece arrive with a large GAP logo on the front, as well as one of two signatures on the rear. The first motif we see is a dove with open wings, while the second is just simply the YZY x GAP patch logo. Rumour has it, that the collection is set to drop at Farfetch from 2pm, but keep it locked in right here for all the latest. In related news, Jordan Brand is open to collaborating with Kanye West.
