Japanese streetwear and sneaker retailer atmos reunites with long-time collaborator adidas to bring back a Japan-exclusive cult classic, the adidas Campus Supreme Sole. This silhouette debuted in 1999, infusing Y2K skate aesthetics with classic adidas lifestyle design. Marking the adidas Campus Supreme’s first-ever return, the shoe will also drop in other regions. This “Black White” rendition expands the newly-reintroduced roster in a contrasting black and white makeover for all-day style.

While the German sportswear giant usually reintroduces models from the terrace-inspired City Series pack, adidas taps a forgotten model from its regional-exclusive catalogue back into the lineup with the help of atmos. The shoe has an all-black suede base inspired by late ‘90s and early 2000s skate shoes, although it also slightly resembles the adidas Pro Model 2G basketball shoe. Meanwhile, contrasting white forms the 3-stripes and adidas mountain logos on the puffy tongue and padded heel. The shoe sits atop a chunky sole unit featuring an EVA midsole and a TORSION support bar on the midfoot. Herringbone traction patterns on the outsole wrap up the old-school chunky design of this silhouette.
