BAPE x adidas Campus 80s Brown

Japanese streetwear fashion powerhouse BAPE resumes its 30th-anniversary celebration with another adidas collaboration. Following the duo camouflage-covered adidas Forum Lows, another classic from the 80s receives the A Bathing Ape treatment. This BAPE x adidas Campus 80s “Brown” commemorates BAPE’s milestone with co-branded logos on the sides and 30th-anniversary labels.

Aside from A Bathing Ape’s 30th birthday, 2023 also marks the 20th year of BAPE x adidas collaborations. Their partnership began in 2003 with the Super Ape Star donning the signature camouflage prints. The two brands strengthened their alliance in the following decade, generating various collaborative silhouettes from 2011 to 2019. This latest adidas Campus 80s rendition joins the “Collegiate Navy” colourway earlier this year. The shoe flaunts a brown suede base, with white leather co-branded BAPE STA appliqué and 3-Stripes on the sides. Gold-foiled labels feature Campus and A Bathing Ape branding on each side. 30th-anniversary commemorations appear in the form of golden lace dubraes and debossed prints on the tongue. BAPE STA labels adorn the white leather heel panel for more emphasis. A unique co-branded box with a mesh cloth bag completes this special-edition collaboration.
