The adidas EQT is such an impressive silhouette, why over complicate the design process? It was a sentiment shared by the team involved as we worked to create an understated yet visually striking silhouette.
All the emphasis is placed on that premium, off-white leather. Marked in the conventional EQT construct this covers a mesh crafted underlay which is visible on the tongue and sidewall. Everything else remains tonal including the integrated lacing system, branding to the rear and midsole.
As we mentioned, it’s the subtle touches which gives those all important finishing touches. On this design, it was the metal dubre to the laces, as well as the embroidered black logo on the tongue.
